Samantha Wallace recently graduated from Cal State Northridge with a BA in Honors in English Literature and is currently a Supplemental Instructor for the CSUN English department. Samantha’s research interests include Postcolonial Studies, Mixed Race Studies, and Asian American Studies, Digital Humanities, and 19th-Century British Literature. She has been invited to present her research at CSUN’s Politics of Participation in Popular Culture Conference and in spring 2018 won CSUN’s Robert apRoberts Award. The WhatEvery1Says project is the first large scale Digital Humanities research project that Samantha has been involved with. In previous Digital Humanities work, Samantha coupled her interest in 19th-Century British Literature and computational text analysis by exploring the relationship between morality terms and the progression of plot in George Eliot’s novels.
