Caitlin Hawkins earned her BA in English Literature from California State University, Bakersfield in May 2014. She is a Teaching Associate at California State University, Northridge and will be completing her Masters of Arts in Literature this fall. Caitlin’s future plans include teaching at the collegiate level and writing. Her research interests include American gothic fiction, trauma and its effects on children’s and contemporary Young Adult literature, and performative gender theory. Outside of her academic pursuits, Caitlin spends her time reading mystery novels, drinking coffee, playing with her cat, and traveling the world with her husband.
