Amy Windham is an undergraduate student in California State University, Northridge’s English program, with a focus in English Literature. Her research interests include medieval literature, Gothic literature, feminist theory, Scottish history, and science fiction. In 2019, she held a research fellowship at Caltech with a focus on the exploration of female literacy in the Middle Ages. Amy previously worked as a Writing Consultant and Tutor Coordinator at Pasadena City College’s Writing Support Center, where she developed and co-led an advanced physics seminar that taught writing conventions to STEM majors. She is currently a member of CSUN’s Digital Humanities club, and in fall 2020 will begin working as a Supplemental Instruction Leader of freshman writing. Amy has been published in a number of science fiction anthologies and plans to enroll in a master’s program in library and information science in order to pursue a career as a librarian. In her spare time, she works as a personal assistant at Doctor Who conventions across the United States and Europe.
